Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
"Actually, the problem is that I can't lose my mind," I said. "It's inescapable."
The book sat on my desk for a few weeks. There were several other titles that I was somewhere in the middle of reading and it seemed like the wrong time to start the latest John Green YA novel. But eventually the hoopla surrounding the book’s release began to simmer.
One evening I located some very fine grapes and a few rather inexpensive chocolates. The time was ripe to dive into Turtles All the Way Down. This is a journey into the mind of Mr. Green. When I arrived at the final word, the final period, I gently closed the cover. Immediately I opened the volume and started rereading. This time I found myself hurdling over masses of sticky notes. My comments littered the page after page. It was apparent that this book had a lot to tell me and that in return, I had many emotional responses to the text.
In real life some things get better and some things get worse."
